2025 Holiday Light Contest

We are excited to celebrate the holiday season and host a little neighborly competition! ​​All Shorewood residents are encouraged to participate in our Holiday Light Contest! We love seeing all of the lights on the beautiful homes in Shorewood and celebrating the creativity of our neighbors!

• Nominations:

  • Nominate your home and/or a neighbor's (with their permission)!

  • Email shorewoodfw@gmail.com the following:

    • Your address (or the address of the home you're nominating)

    • At least one photo of your exterior holiday decorations. You can submit multiple photos to include details, if you prefer. 

  • The last day to submit an entry is Wednesday, December 17th, 2025 at 11:59pm EST

  • All participants agree to have the photo(s) of their exterior holiday decorations/lights posted on the Shorewood Neighborhood website and Facebook page. Participants agree there will be no compensation of any kind for postings or publication.

• Voting:

  • Voting begins on Friday, December 19, 2025 and ends Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 11:59pm EST

  • Voting will take place on the Shorewood Neighborhood website (www.shorewoodfw.com) 

  • Must be a resident of Shorewood to vote

  • One vote per address

• Winners:

  • Contest winners will be notified via email and posted to our Facebook page on December 30, 2025

  • Prizes will be given to the top three homes who receive the most votes 

    • 1st Place:   $100 Amazon Gift Card  

    • 2nd Place: $50 Amazon Gift Card  

    • 3rd Place:  $25 Amazon Gift Card
